ADHD Therapy & Coaching

ADHD Isn’t Just About Focus—It’s About How You Move Through the World

ADHD isn’t just “difficulty paying attention.” It’s emotional intensity, executive function struggles, impulse control, rejection sensitivity, and the exhaustion of constantly trying to keep up in a world that wasn’t designed for your brain.

Maybe you’re stuck in a cycle of burnout, struggling with inconsistency, or feeling frustrated by big ideas that never seem to make it to the finish line. Maybe you’ve spent your whole life masking, overcompensating, and wondering why things that seem easy for other people feel impossible for you.

Whatever your experience, you don’t have to fight your brain—you can learn to work with it. ADHD therapy and coaching are designed to help you understand your unique wiring, develop strategies that actually work for you, and break free from shame, frustration, and self-doubt.

ADHD Therapy vs. ADHD Coaching: What’s the Difference?

Both therapy and coaching are designed to support you, but they serve different purposes:

🔹 ADHD Therapy – Focuses on the emotional side of ADHD, including anxiety, rejection sensitivity, self-esteem struggles, and unhelpful patterns that keep you stuck. Therapy helps you process past experiences, understand yourself more deeply, and build emotional resilience.

🔹 ADHD Coaching – Focuses on practical, real-world strategies for managing executive function challenges like time management, organization, motivation, and decision-making. Coaching is action-oriented and helps you build sustainable systems that support the way your brain actually works.

Depending on your needs, you might benefit from one or both approaches. We’ll figure out the right mix together.

How I Work

For me, ADHD is so much fun to work with because literally every brain is different. Therapy and coaching with me are highly interactive and tailored to the way your brain works. My approach integrates:

  • Executive Function Coaching – Helping you develop sustainable routines, time management skills, and systems that actually work for your brain.

  • Rejection Sensitivity & Emotional Regulation Work – ADHD often comes with big emotions—I'll help you navigate them with self-compassion.

  • Nonviolent Communication (NVC) – Teaching you how to advocate for yourself, set boundaries, and improve relationships in a way that feels authentic.

  • Somatic & Experiential Work – ADHD isn’t just mental—it’s physical. We’ll use movement, breathwork, and sensory techniques to regulate overwhelm and impulsivity.

  • Motivational Interviewing (MI) – Helping you get unstuck and figure out what actually drives you.

  • Strengths-Based Strategies – You’re not broken. We’ll identify what does work for you and build on it.

This isn’t about forcing you into a neurotypical mold—it’s about creating a framework that lets you thrive as you are.

Who I Work With

I specialize in working with:

Entrepreneurs, creatives, and leaders who have big visions but struggle with follow-through
Professionals who feel like they’re always playing catch-up or getting in their own way
Late-diagnosed ADHDers who are trying to unlearn years of masking and self-doubt
Queer and neurodivergent folks who need a space that fully affirms their identity and experience
Parents of ADHD teens who want to break generational cycles and support their kid without power struggles

Whether you’re trying to stop missing deadlines, improve your relationships, manage impulsivity, or just feel like you actually have control over your life, we’ll create a plan that fits.

Session Length & Structure

You can choose the session length that best supports your needs:

  • 30-Minute Lightning Session – A highly focused, goal-oriented session designed for quick troubleshooting, accountability, or refining a specific strategy. Perfect for checking in on progress, adjusting systems, or tackling one targeted challenge. (Private pay only, as insurance does not cover this length.)

  • 60-Minute Sessions – Great for regular therapy or coaching, where we focus on emotional processing, executive function strategies, or a mix of both. (Covered by insurance if applicable.)

  • 90-Minute Deep Dive – Best for complex challenges, hands-on coaching, or mapping out detailed action plans. Gives extra space to experiment with strategies in real-time. (Private pay only, as insurance does not cover this length.)

Sessions are available weekly, biweekly, or on an as-needed basis.

What to Expect

ADHD therapy and coaching are not about rigid programs or unrealistic expectations. Here’s how we’ll work together:

  1. First Session: Understanding You – We’ll talk about your experiences, what’s been working (or not), and what you want to get out of our time together. No judgment, no shame—just curiosity and collaboration.

  2. Ongoing Sessions: Strategy & Practice – Therapy and coaching are interactive, meaning we’ll experiment with real-time strategies and adjust as we go. Expect movement, structured exercises, and immediate feedback—not just talking.

  3. A Flexible, Strengths-Based Approach – We’ll focus on what works for you, not what works for someone else.

ADHD Therapy & Coaching FAQ

1. Do I need therapy or coaching?

If you’re struggling with emotional regulation, past trauma, or deep-seated patterns, therapy is likely the best place to start. If you’re looking for practical strategies and structure, coaching might be a better fit. Many clients benefit from a mix of both.

2. Is coaching covered by insurance?

ADHD therapy may be covered if I accept your insurance. ADHD coaching is private pay only, as insurance does not cover coaching services.

3. Can you help with time management and organization?

Yes! But instead of forcing you into a traditional planner system that doesn’t work, we’ll figure out how your brain naturally functions best and build from there.

4. What if I’ve tried every system and nothing sticks?

That’s exactly what we’ll troubleshoot together. The goal isn’t to make you fit into a system—it’s to build one that actually fits you.

5. Is this only for people officially diagnosed with ADHD?

Nope. If you struggle with focus, executive function, impulsivity, or emotional regulation—whether you have a formal diagnosis or not—these strategies can help.
